As some of you may know, I got engaged in January! It’s freakin’ April now & we will make 3 months engaged in just a few weeks. If you’re wondering… we haven’t done any wedding planning. We haven’t even set a date yet! We’ve been in total bliss and are just enjoying each other & this new step in our relationship.
While we haven’t done any planning yet, I have done a couple of searches for dresses. Ok… maybe a few more than a couple of searches, LOL. And y’alllll, I came across designer Jenny Packham and I fell for her work. Her 2019 collection is gorgeous and I had to share a couple of my favorites here. I think sharing my 2019 wedding dress favorites is something I’m going to do on the regular!
So I picked out a few of my favorites from her collection. I love the modern silhouettes of these dresses and their simple, elegant glamour. They all look incredibly comfortable and functional – something I find a lot of brides don’t think about when it comes to choosing a dress.
I can see these dresses in venues like Race & Religious, Pharmacy Museum, Marigny Opera House, and The Seraphim House, just to name a few. And all of them would look absolutely fab parading down the streets of New Orleans during a second line!
I am loving the high neck of this dress and the gathering of the cinched waistline!
This one is dreamy. The deep v-neck shows off the décolletage and the flutter sleeves and subtle pattern are timeless.
Sleeves are so cool right now. And isn’t the silver accenting super chic?
HOW FUN IS THIS? It’s kind of like a casual pantsuit. With sparkles. Yes, please!
And if you’re the bride who is all about the freakin’ glam…. look no further! This dress is cool, fearless, and perfect for a New Orleans bride!
